WSMCC are looking to recruit a high quality, experienced head player/coach for the 2024 season

The club is looking for a person who:

Has significant ECB Premier League (eg, WEPL Premier or Two) playing experience

Holds at least an ECB Level 2 Coaching qualification (or equivalent), and working towards Level 3

Will confidently lead on all senior training sessions

Will be a leading player and voice for the 1st XI

Will have a strong input into all senior, womens and youth cricket, including attending meetings, leading sessions, and communicating with players and parents

Will be a role model and leading member of WSMCC on and off the pitch, leading the club forward in all areas

For this and other responsibilities, WSMCC will offer:

Opportunities to develop personal coaching skills and also run private 1-1 sessions using clubs excellent indoor and outdoor facilities

Support from a committed and passionate Executive Committee

A chance to be part of a leading club in the South West, with ambitions to see 1st XI competing at the very highest level, as well as significant progress for all other senior and womens teams over the next 2-3 seasons and beyond

Whilst the ideal candidate will demonstrate all these qualities, the club are flexible, and would like to talk to anyone who feels they can add value to this role, whether in a playing or coaching capacity.
