Club president John Scott presents refurbished championship and Lord’s Cup final photographs
The club is delighted to recognise and thank our Club President, John Scott, for his generous and thoughtful contribution in presenting two newly refurbished framed photographs for display in the Lounge Bar.
The photographs feature two of the most significant teams in the club’s proud history — our Championship-winning side and our Lord’s Cup Final team. These images commemorate outstanding achievements and unforgettable occasions that hold a special place in the memories of many players, members, supporters, and friends of the club.
Thanks to John’s generosity, these important pieces of our history have been professionally refurbished and beautifully presented, ensuring that they can be enjoyed by current members and future generations alike. The photographs now take pride of place in the Lounge Bar, where they serve as a lasting reminder of the club’s rich heritage, the dedication of those who represented the club with distinction, and the success that has been achieved over the years.
John has always been a passionate supporter of the club and someone who values its traditions and history. This generous gesture reflects his continued commitment to preserving the club’s legacy and celebrating the achievements of those who have helped shape its story.
On behalf of everyone at the club, we extend our sincere thanks to John Scott for his generosity, kindness, and ongoing support. His contribution is greatly appreciated and will be admired by members and visitors for many years to come.
Thank you, John, for helping preserve and celebrate our club’s history.
