Youth teams in Cup Final action this week

Three of the Weston youth teams are in Cup Final action this week, starting on Monday night for the U15’s

Tonight (Monday), the Under 15’s take on Cheddar in their final. They are unbeaten in all cricket this year and beat their opponents by 41 runs in the league fixture, so will be hoping for a similar result tonight. It’s being hosted by Claverham, as they beat Weston in the final last year and thus were asked to host this years game.

On Thursday, both of our U13 teams are in cup finals:

The Wizards take on Long Ashton on the Main Ground, being asked to host as the cup holders. They are also unbeaten this year, and are looking for repeat of last seasons cup win, where they beat Chew Magna to lift the trophy.

The Wonders got into the Plate final courtesy of victory over Claverham, where they chased down their target of 65 five wickets down. They take on Wrington, hosted by Long Ashton.

Good luck to everyone!
