Womens indoor softball team win cup

The women’s indoor softball team won the Somerset Cricket Board cup on Sunday, defeating Portishead at Gordano school.

Senior bowler Georgia Tulip led the way with 4 wickets, and youngsters Bobbi-Lee Kingston and Aimee Davidson led the way with 49 runs from their 4 overs, but the whole team played their part in the win. Our women’s teams train on Friday nights, from 7-8pm. We have both hardball and softball teams, who play fixtures across the season, and we are always looking for new players to come and join in. Contact the club send us a message on Facebook, or call us on 01934 623101.

A great start to 2019 for WSMCC, well done to the team for their success.
